1 Kings 21:1

(NIV1984) 1 Kings 21:1 – “Some time later there was an incident involving a vineyard belonging to Naboth the Jezreelite.  The vineyard was in Jezreel, close to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.”

…some time later.  Once again, no exact date!  We only know that it happens after the episode with Ben-Hadad.  So we know that Aheb already is going to become as Ben-Hadad was – his life for Ben-Hadad’s, and his people for Ben-Hadad’s people.  This story ends up illuminating further what will happen.

As it is, the only thing we get right now are our two main players and the object of desire – Naboth, Ahab, and the vineyard.  And this small English word – incident.  Like when something goes drastically wrong and you try to cover it up – an incident.  Considering, this makes sense.
